Management of a program for fisheries’ aerial surveillance.
Implementation and administrative, financial and operational management of a co-ordanate program for fisheries surveillance within the economical exclusive zones (EEZ) of 7 West African countries (Mauritania, Senegal, Cape Verde, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra-Leone). Co-ordination of the identification and inspection tasks for the 7 countries. Implementation of a regional database concerning the fisheries control. Modernisation of a maritime communication network of the 7 countries for the improvment and the facilitation of the information exchanges for operational purposes. Relations with the national authorities of the 7 countries as well as the international funding agencies.
Organisation of the 1st (1996) and 2nd (1997) technical consultations on the fisheries MCS in West Africa, in Banjul.
Whole program realised under the aegis and for the Sub Regional Fisheries Commission for West Africa (head-quarters- Dakar, Senegal).
